Little Girl without Mother

Little Girl without Mother
She is about three years old. She is running around on the market. She is crying and calling: "Mama, mama, mamaaa!" Two female street singers look at her, but continues to play guitar and sing. The audience listens to the song, sees the little girl and wondering, nobody knows what to do?
No mama appears, the little girl with the dark hair gets more desperate. Crying louder and louder!
One of the singers stop singing, concentrating on the lost child. She leaves her microphone, walks up to the child, trying in vain to get in contact with her. "Where is your mother?"
The song ends, the girl runs around crying... and then the mother comes running along the street, hugs the child, kisses her, lifting her up and walks away.
The little girl looks up, a little embarassed, but smiling now through tears.
Small tragedy in a street theatre. Happy ending!

Half Mouse Without Cat

Half Mouse Without Cat
There it was - half a mouse lying on the lawn. A grey little reminisence of an earlier today living being. The grey-and-brown cat called Lillepus left the stage, her theatre of death, satisfied with her meal and with her demonstration of the noble skill of killing. She didn't leave the mouse a chanse, playing with her, throwing the unlucky creature from paw to paw, from claw to claw. Not a chance for the animal toy.
Lillepus walks away lightly and elegantly like a lady - until she sees a little grey bird falling down from the nest in the oak tree. She jumps and catches the little bird, plays with it, kills it and eats a little...
Thus she goes on every day - and I praise my destiny as a lucky man because the cat is mine, and not the opposite...
